MusicaliTea sold out!

Our annual Sierra Master Chorale fundraiser tea is sold out! If you’d like to be on our waiting list, please sign up in the lobby or call the office. Jedd Dixon will be our energetic and jovial emcee once again, and our theme this year is “Alice in Wonderland.” For those attending, don’t forget your decorated hats for the “hat contest.”

Please note: We called MusicaliTea a “high tea.” According to British Tea History… people often refer to afternoon tea as high tea because they think it sounds regal and lofty (oops! ), when in actuality, high tea, in Britain, tends to be on the heavier side like dinner. American hotels and tea rooms often misunderstand and offer tidbits of fancy pastries and cakes when they offer a “high tea.” We misunderstood! As a traditional English after-lunch affair, we’ll serve a delightful, light selection of finger sandwiches, scones and sweets.

Thank you to those who housed the Harvard Glee Club!

We greatly appreciate InConcert Sierra’s patrons who stepped in last minute to help house the Harvard Glee Club! We are now creating a list of concert-goers who would be interested in housing should the need arise again. If you are interested, please either let our staff or board members know, call the office, or send us an email at info@inconcertsierra.org. We are very grateful!

Spring Teen Scholarship!

Each spring, we award $1000 to a passionate young high school musician in need of financial assistance to pursue his or her musical goals. If you know of a young musician who could use a boost, encourage him or her to apply online Spring Teen Scholarship.  Please also consider a tax-deductible contribution to our education programs!
