InConcert Sierra is always seeking new and innovative programs to serve our community’s youth and adult populations. We appreciate your support in helping ICS make it all happen.  Below are a few updates:

New Summer Library Series– InConcert Sierra and the Nevada County Library are partnering to create a weekly Monday Music Series this summer at the Madelyn Helling Library’s new amphitheater. Stay tuned for more information in our next program and online at

Music Matters Grants – This is an on-going grant program offering assistance to promising young musicians, ages 12-22, who show a passion for, and dedication to, their chosen musical endeavors, but may lack the necessary financial means or access to pursue either lessons, an instrument, music camps, etc.  We always encourage new applicants. Please note information about our most recent grantee in today’s program.

Next Season’s Third Grade Education Concerts – Our popular performances for

Nevada County’s third-grade students will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018, featuring our Third Sunday artists “WindSync” The internationally acclaimed wind quintet will surely delight both our Third Sunday audience and the students!  We are always seeking volunteer docents to meet with students in their classes, discuss the music they will hear and prepare them for the experience. Nevada Joint Union High School District Scholarships – InConcert is proud to be part of the NJUHSD Scholarship Program masterfully administered by District Scholarship Coordinator Barbara Ross. We will be announcing scholarships to be awarded.
