“Music on Wheels” is a program that InConcert began last September to bring live classical music to senior and assisted living communities throughout Nevada County.

Come and enjoy the program we’ve offered to senior residences:

We’ll share the reasons why The Union, Capital Public Radio, and KNCO chose to highlight our new educational program, motivated in part by the mounting scientific evidence showing music’s positive effects on the mind and body.

Check out the articles from Captial Public Radio The Union Newspaper & KNCO Radio

“My father lives at Atria Senior Living in Grass Valley. I often hear from him as well as the residents about how much they value live classical music played at a high professional level. It’s great to bring all levels of musicianship and arts to seniors, and we want ICS to bring the highest level possible. On a more selfish note, not only do I want this available for my father, I know I’ll be there someday and I want the same great classical music available to me when I have a more difficult time getting out. In reality, this is an important program for ALL OF US!” Ken Hardin, artistic director

All proceeds go to the Music on Wheels program.
