Barbara Hall, board member
“The joy of bringing something to the larger community is tremendously fulfilling!”

Barbara Hall
Barbara Hall was exposed to classical music at home, the local symphony, the Community Concert Series and church choirs. Barbara’s family would gather around the piano to sing and play old favorites. Her brothers sang bass and played the violin, her Nana was an alto, her father a tenor, and she was a soprano while her mother played the piano and sang.
Barbara feels she brings that early fondness for music to her commitment to InConcert. She loves working with a group of people who are passionate about bringing the best possible music to the community. Barbara is enthusiastic about her involvement with InConcert. She says, “I can’t help but be excited about the top-notch musical programs we bring to our audiences. And we have fun doing it.”
Barbara volunteered for 28 years at all levels of management in the non-profit sector in the Bay Area. From that experience she learned that the strength of any non-profit lies in the strength and passion of its volunteers. The joy of bringing something to the larger community is tremendously fulfilling. Barbara explains, “We are all committed volunteers and we love what we do!”
