Diane Robertson, board member
“passionate about the importance of the arts and arts education”
Diane Robertson and her husband Lowell have been long-time supporters of InConcert Sierra, and of the arts in our community. Diane has a strong background in education. Locally, she taught French and English for twenty years at Nevada Union High School, enjoying one year as a Fulbright Exchange Teacher to France.
She has served on the boards of Foothill Theatre, Literature Alive!, Music in the Mountains, and continues to serve on the MIM Education Committee. She was instrumental in bringing the Brummitt-Taylor Music Listening Program to local classrooms. She notes, “I am passionate about the importance of the arts and arts education, and conscious of the challenges to sustaining them.” Diane and Lowell (who serves on our marketing consultation committee) have lived in Nevada City since 1978. There is so much more to say about Diane! We are very excited to have her join InConcert Sierra’s board of directors.
