“Having never heard the ensemble before, I was completely unprepared for the poise and professionalism of both choir and orchestra under the leadership of Conductor, Ken Hardin. The foothills seem to be salted with musical gold. –  Dr. Robert M. Johnson

“I really look forward to going to rehearsal every week because, even though we all work hard, Ken makes it such a positive and fun experience, we don’t realize we are learning. And what could be more thrilling than getting to perform with a full orchestra!” – Nora Kinney, alto (2017)

“Looking around the audience, appreciating the diversity of political convictions present, I was struck
by a community coming together, all equally absorbed by the music, prose and inner intention to promote peace. Thank you Sierra Master Chorale and Orchestra for an opportunity to engage in a deeply moving
event.” – Dr. Scott Kellerman, The Union (after “The Armed Man” – May 2016)

“Thank you InConcert Sierra (SMC) for another fabulous holiday concert. The attention to detail, the gracious presentation and, of course, the music, music, music brings us back season after season. We love the thoughtful introduction to each piece in the set list. It’s all part of a memorable performance by each and every part of the ensemble. The singers, the live orchestra and with Ken Hardin at the helm is pure magic. Thank you again and again and Happy Holidays.” – Tristan Berlund (2017)
