Apr 18 – ICS Orchestra (2016)
Third Sunday Virtual Season of Past Performances
Sunday, April 18 at 2pm
InConcert Sierra Orchestra (2016) Greatest Hits
Ken Hardin, conductor
Artistic Director and Conductor Ken Hardin chose stirring selections such as Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty Waltz, Mussorgsky’s Night on Bald Mountain and Ravel’s Pavane for a Dead Princess from the results of an audience survey requesting their favorite orchestral works and/or movements. The program even includes three movements from one of Ken’s favorites, Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite, also requested by our concertmaster Richard Altenbach.
