Do you recall Taylor’s sensational 2014 dual keyboard Steinway concert?  He’s back! Hailed by critics as “frighteningly talented” (The New York Times) and “a great pianist” (The Los Angeles Times), Taylor will astound you (on a single keyboard piano) with the Liszt transcriptions of the Beethoven symphonies, #3 and #4 which are arguably the greatest and most difficult works of transcription ever composed.

"These are the greatest works for the piano, tremendous works...every note of those symphonies is in these Liszt works."  ~Vladimir Horowitz

This house concert will be held at a private home in Penn Valley.

Program:

Beethoven: Symphony No. 5 (Transcription for Piano Solo by Franz Liszt)

Beethoven's Bagatelles, Op. 126 for solo piano
