The Composers Project has found a new home!
InConcert Sierra and Mark Vance have entered into a mutual agreement to transition the Composers Project back to Mark Vance and its founding organization of the Nevada County Composers Cooperative (NCCC). InConcert Sierra and Mark Vance/NCCC intend to maintain a collaborative relationship and recognize the value in keeping this important education opportunity in our community.

Young Composers / Poetry in Song: InConcert Sierra continues to support the Nevada County Composers Cooperative’s “Young Composers” program. In November, the class met with our Third Sunday Concert artist, Spencer Myer, for a masterclass. “Spencer was absolutely fabulous today. He’s well-spoken, engaging, and such a fine musician. We heard some impressive Debussy Preludes and talk about education as well as piano technique,” said Young Composers instructor Mark Vance.

The class’ first semester’s concert “Poetry in Song” will be on Sunday, February 4 at 2pm at the Trabucco Ranch. For more information, visit : www.composerscooperative.info.
